Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) Policy
Federal law gives extra protection to certain information about your voice service. This is called Customer Proprietary Network Information, or CPNI. SUMOFIBER takes that protection seriously. This policy explains what CPNI is, how we handle it, and the choices you have.

What CPNI Is
CPNI is information about your voice service that is generated as you use it. It includes things like:
- The types of voice services you subscribe to
- The number of phone lines you have
- Calling patterns, including time, duration, and called numbers
- Technical configuration of your service
Your name, address, and phone number alone are not CPNI. Information that is publicly available, such as a published directory listing, is also not CPNI.
How We Use CPNI
We use CPNI to:
- Provide and maintain your service
- Bill you for the services you use
- Respond to customer service requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We may also use CPNI internally to make you aware of other services we offer that may fit your needs. We do not share, rent, or sell CPNI to third parties for their marketing.
Your Choices
Opt out of marketing based on CPNI
You have the right to tell us not to use CPNI to market our other services to you. Opting out will not affect any service you currently subscribe to. Your choice stays in effect until you change it.

Sharing with people you authorize
You can authorize us to discuss your account and CPNI with specific people, such as a family member, business partner, or authorized representative. You can add or remove authorized contacts at any time.
How We Protect CPNI
We secure CPNI through:
- Account passwords or other authentication required for account access
- Training for employees on the importance of CPNI protection
- Internal policies that limit access to CPNI to staff who need it for their job
- Notifications to you when certain account changes occur, such as password changes or service additions
- Reporting of breaches to law enforcement and to affected customers as required by federal law
